Hi, I’m Aiysha – the founder of The Learning Compass. I’m a neurodivergent, multilingual tutor, teacher, mentor, mum, and passionate advocate for inclusive education. Thank you for visiting! This platform exists thanks to the incredible support from my family, friends, and colleagues.

How It All Started

The idea for The Learning Compass was born from a personal experience with a young student and their family, struggling with language barriers and lack of specialised support. The child had autism and didn’t speak English, and their school didn’t have the resources to meet their needs. After speaking to other educators, I realized this wasn’t an isolated issue. Across the country, neurodivergent students, including those with ADHD, autism, and learning disabilities, were falling through the cracks. This realization drove me to create a platform where neurodivergent learners of all ages could thrive with personalised support from expert tutors.
